Gregory Nabours (Music/Lyrics) has been performing both on and off the stage for the past decade. Musical direction credits include The Women of Brewster Place (2010 Ovation Winner), Having It All (2011 Ovation Nominee), [title of show] (Los Angeles Premiere- Celebration Theatre), A New Brain (El Portal Forum), Into the Woods, Assassins, The Full Monty, Rent, The Last Five Years, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Composer credits include Sequins! - The Show Choir Musical, SteamTowne, and The Trouble With Words. His music has been performed in venues across the nation, and he has accompanied many of Broadway's brightest stars. His band, The Anix, has toured both nationally and internationally. Gregory is the Musical Director for Ryan Black's 88's Cabaret and Ryan O'Connor Eats His Feelings, and is the proud Resident Composer for Coeurage Theatre Company, where he appeared as Frank ‘N Furter in last year’s hit production of The Rocky Horror Show.

Patrick Pearson (Director) is an award-winning director whose work has taken him to both coasts of the United States as well as to Wales. His production of William Finn’s autobiographical musical A New Brain was remounted twice over a two year period, the second time at the Festival of New American Musicals (El Portal Forum) where it was performed for the author. His production of Altar Boyz at the Celebration Theatre in West Hollywood was the recipient of two LA Weekly Awards (Best Ensemble and Choreography), and a nomination for Best Musical. Other directing credits include The Diviners (Kennedy Center), Under Milkwood (Dylan Thomas Boathouse, Laugharne, Wales), Songs from an Unmade Bed (Celebration Theatre), Equus (Young Theatre), Not About Nightingales (Walton Arts Center), Violet, Dead Man Walking, Seussical, Dog Sees God, As It Is In Heaven, A Piece of My Heart, Falling Dreams and Marisol among others. He directed the Pirates of Penzance-themed portion the What’s Opera, Doc? 50th Anniversary Celebration for Linda Jones Enterprises (Looney Toons/Chuck Jones Galleries). Patrick served as the Assistant Director on Duncan Sheik’s new musical Whisper House at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, where he also directed As You Like It as part of their Summer Shakespeare Intensive Program. He will be returning to the Old Globe this summer to direct The Merry Wives of Windsor for the same program. Patrick has his MFA in Directing from California State University, Fullerton and BFA in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University. Member SDC.

Brian Morales (Orchestrator) has been working with Gregory Nabours for the past two years as a musician, an orchestrator and a contractor. He was last seen with the Coeurage Theater Company as Music Director and leader of the “Naked Band” for The Rocky Horror Show. He received his B.M. at California State University, Fullerton with an emphasis in composition. Recent composition credits include Transcendence (Chris Mirjahangir) and Mad Sight (Ric Perez-Selsky). He is the Conductor and Co-Founder of the Orange County Collegiate Orchestra, for which he recently conducted Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 (Michelle Do, pianist). He also plays second alto sax with the O.C.-based jazz group, The Damn Handsome Band.

Jeremy (Assistant Director) is excited to once again be working with Patrick Pearson and honored to be working for the first time with Coeurage Theatre Company. In addition to directing and performing, Jeremy has been the acting instructor at Ovation School for the Performing Arts for the past 10 years. He has since returned to school to pursue his degree in directing where he has recently been honored with the SDC Student Directing Fellowship presented by the Kennedy Center.

Tiffany Adeline Cole (Choreographer) recently recieved her Bacholor of Arts degree in Theatre from the CSU Fullerton, working on productions including Anton In Show Business, Dog Sees God, and A Piece of My Heart. She received Meritorious Achievement from the 2011 American College Theater Festival for her choreography in Violet. She is thrilled to be working with Coeurage again and would like to thank the cast and crew for making this experience unforgettable. Recent Credits include: I Love You Because, The Rocky Horror Show and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot.

Michelle Stann (Stage Manager & Lighting Designer) is one of the resident stage managers and light designers for Coeurage Theater Company as well as the Production Manager. This is Michelle's 7th show with Coeurage. Other shows include Measure for Measure, Hats, Nudes & Immortality, Under Milk Wood, No. Saints Lane, and bash: latterday plays.

Debbie Dufour (Costume Design) designed the costumes for Coeurage’s last two productions, No. Saints Lane and bash: latterday plays.

Erik McEwen (Hair & Makeup Design/Costume Design) has been styling hair for almost 10 years now, working in New York and most of Southern California area. He specializes in editorial and wig styling. In 2010, he was named Paul Mitchell's Top Stylist, which was a nationwide competition. He has worked with big named directors and studied under the best of the best in the business. Ric Perez-Selsky (Technical Director) is very excited to be a part of the premiere for The Trouble with Words. He has worked on several Coeurage productions in the past, most recently stage managing bash: latterday plays and last fall he directed The Rocky Horror Show. Ric's films "Mad Sight," "Finding Grace," and "Outside Paradise" will be making rounds at local film festivals beginning this fall. Julianne Donelle loves Coeurage Theatre Company and is honored to be a part of this talented group of artists. Past Coeurage productions include: Head Over Heels and The Rocky Horror Show. She received a BFA in Musical Theatre from CSU Fullerton and since graduation has focused her efforts on film acting and performing in shorts and features. Josh Eddy is proud to be making his west coast stage debut in The Trouble With Words. Originally from Wisconsin, he has a music degree in vocal performance from Belmont University in Nashville and has performed as a singer/songwriter there, in NYC, and most recently around Los Angeles. Josh is extremely grateful to Gregory and Patrick for allowing him the privilege of performing an amazing show among such an extraordinarily talented cast.

Aimee Karlin is a graduate of CSU Fullerton’s B.F.A. Acting program. Some of her favorite roles include: Eliza (My Fair Lady), Olympia (Big Love), and Belinda (Noises Off!). She also portrayed the role of the Mother and Rhoda in Patrick Pearson’s production of A New Brain which won acclaim in the LA Times and was featured in the Festival of New American Musicals ’09. Aimee’s Coeurage productions include: Head Over Heels, Under Milk Wood, and The Rocky Horror Show.

Sarah Phillips was last seen on stage in Spiderbaby the Musical, and stars in the upcoming musical film, Bubblegum! The Musical. She is honored to be working with such an inspired group of people. Christopher Roque As a member of the company, Chris is proud to be on the Coeurage stage once again. His recent credits include Pontius Pilate in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, the Preacher in Violet, and Mr Pugh and others in Under Milk Wood. You can also catch him playing the guitar or performing on cabaret stages around Los Angeles with his family.

Ryan Wagner is the Associate Artistic Director of the Coeurage Theatre Company. He most recently played Joshua Rose in the world premiere of James Lapine's Little Miss Sunshine at the La Jolla Playhouse. His 2010 production of Under Milk Wood received critical acclaim and earned Coeurage its first Critic's Pick. Ryan has performed at the Greek Theatre, the Hollywood Bowl, the Honda Center, and the El Portal Forum. Love to Greg and my family.

Jesse Bradley (Swing) is balls-to-the-wall excited to be back at Coeurage with this amazing ensemble, and to be again working with the phenomenal Greg Nabours and Patrick Pearson. Caitlin Humphreys (Swing) was planted, grown and cultivated in Vacaville, California. Two years ago, she decided to shimmy on down to Cal State Fullerton where she is currently pursuing a BFA in musical theatre. Caitlin is thrilled to join the Coeurage Theatre family, and is ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with such talented individuals. Some treasured roles include Rusty (Footloose), Narrator (Joseph...Dreamcoat), and Maria (West Side Story).

Kevin Rose (Swing) is a BFA Musical Theatre student at Cal State Fullerton. He has been performing since the age of 10 and is excited to be a part of this outstanding cast. Favorite roles: I Love You Because (Jeff), Urinetown (Bobby Strong), Seussical (The Cat in the Hat), Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere).

Sammi Smith (Swing) has been seen in several Coeurage Theatre Company productions including the critically celebrated Under Milk Wood and the world premiere of Head Over Heels, which was also featured at last year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival. She graduated with a BA in Acting from Cal State Fullerton in her native Orange County and studied with Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA.
